Eight years ago I started painting, just to see what, if anything would come of it. What I have found is this... I'll never stop painting. In fact, I love painting. I love it so much that it’s worth suffering the painful, mind numbing weeks having to trudge along un-inspired. Worth praying the Muse will target you in one of her rare but always merciful drive-bys. The darkness that surrounds you falls away, when finally you stand in front of your latest creation. Something new and wondrous now exists that didn't just one brush stroke before. Only then, if you're brave enough...you sign it.
